IIMK has increased fees for its EPGP program from 4.99 lakhs to approximately 6.99 lakh + service taxes from year 2010 to 2012. Now question to ask is whether this increase in fees has deterred students in evincing interests in IIMK EPGP program.
Answer is ‘NO’ . If you look at number of students visiting my blog the trend has shown an improvement (slight though). However not sure of the conversion ratio from prospective students to students. Looking at number of queries which came this year I can certainly say that this time I got lesser queries than in year 2011 which may show a declining trend… Who knows.. Lets wait for couple of more days to watch out when student list for EPGP-05 gets published ….

Hi Vinay. Kudos to you for providing such invaluable information on IIMK admissions.
I am an epgp 2012-14 aspirant and wanted to check with you if you happen to know about any changes made to the eMAT exam pattern for this year. I looked at the sample papers from your website where it mentions of 2 hours of duration of the exam while in the schedule sent by IIMK office, the schedule of the exam is slated to be for 1 hour only. Any information in this regard would be useful.

Thanks for an email. Yes you are correct that they have reduced timeline for IIMK paper from 2 hrs to 1 hr. Also it seems after exam they don’t give the paper back as well. But then kind of questions which are there online would give you some insight of patterns only. Take that as indicative and prepare. More than this I am afraid I wouldn’t be able to help you 🙂
