EMAT Question Paper

Guys,
Sorry for delaying in bringing out the 2nd Question Paper for EMAT. This EMAT was the one which was conducted for IIMK EPGP and/or EMEP program. One caution that files are bit heavy as they are scanned copy but then had no other option. Also recently from 2011 year onward paper is now 1 hr duration and no one is allowed to take paper back home.

  2. hi Vinay,
    one question: can we join EEPGM (one year program) and after finishing that move to EGPG 2nd year after paying balance fees?

    1. Absolutely. You can choose to join EEPGM and then depending on your workload and other condition can decide to enroll for EPGP as well. Also IIMK provide flexibility for EPGP course guys to get EEPGM in case a person is not able to do a two years course and wants to opt out after 1 year. Once can take 2 years break in 4 years EPGP and 1 year break in EEPGM.However might have to may differential of the prevailing fees

  4. Hi Vinay,

    Thks for your Q paper of IIMK, its very helpful for selecting the model Q’s.

    By the way when does the EPGP course start generally?? Also when is it required to visit the IIMK calicut after admission and selection. i want the date and month approx.

    1. If Q paper of EMAT is helpful I would request you to send me a copy of yours (either in physical email and/or soft copy) so that I can upload for benefit of others.

      Regarding other question – Session for us started on Sep 26th when we had to visit IIMK campus for the same. So start would happen with visit to IIMK campus Good thing is that you get charged up once you go there…. and then it sets an agenda for further studies.

    Thanks for sharing your experience with EPGP course. I am planning and evaluating if can takeup this program. But i read many negative feedback regarding the classroom experience.

    Can you please comment.

    1. Not sure who guided you on this. It is not too bad.. It is fine I would day. Once is 3-4 months there are issues but then it is not that severe. In last 8 month or so I remember only 1-2 days when the problem was severe and there was disruption in classes… Also you cannot compare classes Face to Face versus Video conferencing. Individual also sometimes get demotivated on interacting with machine than humans but then u get used to it…

  6. Hi Vinay,

    Do you know if IIM sends acknowledgement back once you send your application, if yes, how is it sent, courier or mail and by when we should expect an ack since last date for form submission is 30th July.

    1. I had directly sent it to the IIMK. Alternatively you can give it to Hughes center and they can send it as well. Normally you get an acknowledgement saying your application has been received but then it comes very late. I normally give my fees cheques to Hughes who sends it to IIMK. I also get receipt and acknowledgement from IIMK

  7. Hi Vinay,

    This year’s eMAT format is changed. It will be 1 hr paper instead of 2 hours & directly follow by personal interview by IIMK executives.

    No sure how will be the pattern look like. Will you suggest something for PI. Any tip that will make a difference. You must have go through the PI, what sort of questions they have asked?
    What is the point they basically stress upon ?

      I have no clue. However would appreciate if you could send me the copy of latest EMAT question paper so that I can upload the same for other’s benefit and wish you all the best.. I guess the exam is on this weekend

    1. Thanks for the feedback. I don’t have the new format and am not aware of it. Also it seems now they take the question paper also after the exam as well… But hopefully existing paper would serve the purpose

    1. Hi EMAT Aspirants.
      I appeared for EMAT in year 2015 and as far as i remember there were around 70-75questions.
      30 – quants
      20 – aptitute
      20 – English.
      Questions were pretty easy to solve ( compared to CAT / GMAT )
